MCA Coding
If you wish to charter out your own private boat and it is a UK registered boat, then it will have to comply with the Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) codes of practice to guarantee that the vessel is sound, well found and equipped with the appropriate safety gear.
We can organise this for you if your boat is based in Mallorca. We will contact MCA surveyors, purcahse all necessary safety equipment, adjust boat equipment where necessary, ensure all codes of practice are met, and organise inspections.
If your boat is Spanish registered then similar coding must be undertaken, which we can organise for you and deal with the Spanish authorities.
Once your boat is fully coded, you can then apply for a charter license and begin the charter season earning some extra cash!
